Joseph took me fishing on Memorial day. It's not my ideal holiday to get up at 5am, but he promised me Café Rio after, and made up for it with the Muppets Movie. In actuality, I loved fishing. It was incredibly relaxing. I love to run away to the mountains. We caught nothing, and that was probably for the best. I was experiencing pre-guilt at the thought of killing little fishies.
Running...
Joseph made me go running this morning. We haven't been in about a month and a half due to schedules and health issues. It was harder than I'll admit to get back into it. But I felt good after, so that'll count for something, right? I have a new goal in life, run the Yellowstone half marathon. It was a goal to run a half, but now I have a specific half I want to run. It'll happen. It will.
Cooking...
Summer calls for fresher foods. Lots of vegetables. Not much in the oven. I've found a love for zoodles. I had been reading this health book, but when this semester started, I was required to read a TON for a literature class. So, unfortunately, I quit reading the health book. And now I have a wicked sweet tooth again and nothing to guilt myself out of it. Most of the time I'm eating healthy. And then there's times like last night where I had otter pops and cinnamon rolls for dinner.

This is a fun time of year with my husband. Two years ago we were meeting each other around this time. It reminds me of how blessed I am to have him in my life. I'm hitting the reset button on our relationship a bit, trying to bat my eyelashes and flirt with him like I did when we were newly dating. Taking every sweet thing he does as the greatest compliment ever. It's just so much fun. I'm always surprised by how very good he is. He makes me want to be a better person every day, and I love him for that.

mmm cinnamon rolls for dinner. I love the idea of fishing, but actual fishing - not so much. I'll sit in a boat and catch a tan and read a book, that's about it! Sounds like you had a great time though :)
I love fishing, most relaxing thing ever, my boo does the leisure fishing whilst I sleep next to him and it's the best sleep EVER hands down lol. There is just something about the atmosphere when fishing x
