Bachelor Games
Yes, this is one of 'those' posts, where I review a book or TV show. Lucky you, you get 2 in one! Book AND TV show!
And those happen to be two things which are polar opposites in the scales of awesome, but if you break them down they're pretty similar.
The first is The Bachelor Pad.
This is a stupid show where they took a bunch of people from different stupid shows and made them compete for love and money. Oooo... love and money.... The only two things that... home grown tomatoes can't... buy (wait what?) The contestants are people from past seasons of the Bachelor and Bachelorette. They all live in one house, all sleep in the same room, and are all competing for 250 grand.
The second thing I'm reviewing is the Hunger Games.
Hunger games is a book about a bunch of kids thrown into an arena to fight to the death. One boy and girl from each district or state.
Already there are similarities... the competition for sure... but wait. It gets more intense.
In Hunger Games, after several kids were already killed, an announcement came that there could be two winners! A boy and a girl from the same district! They did this so they could play up the whole 'love' thing between the main characters Peeta and Katniss. (I like their names. Sounds like spices.) Spoiler coming up if you haven't read these books... and if you haven't read the books stop reading my blog entirely because we can't be friends anymore. I'm serious.
Wait. I think I already gave out the spoiler. Oh wait no. So it gets down to the end... Katniss and Peeta fighting against the other 'couple' that had HUGE potential in winning. And of course the other couple dies. (That's why there are 2 more books in the series.) Peeta and Katniss are left. They had won! Then an announcement came that a mistake had been made, there could only be one winner, and Katniss and Peeta had to fight to the death. (Dramatic Music)
I'm not going to spoil the end... but I've been watching Bachelor Pad lately because I'm a sorry excuse for a life. Anyways. This week an announcement was made that they could compete as couples! There would be 2 winners! (Dramatic music). I don't know how it's going to end. The season finale is next week. But I think it would be way cool if the last couple standing was so sure that they would both win the money when....
(Most dramatic music you've ever heard...)
They find out there can only be one winner. And they have to fight to the death.
I get way into popular reality tv, and think it could be seriously improved if there was a lot less meandering and a lot more murder. Put me in a straight jacket as you will.

First, I love this post.
Second, I love Hunger Games to the point of insanity.
Third, I'd love more murder on reality TV.
Fourth, I love you.
The End.
So... no one really cares about this... but my coworker and really good friend was almost on the Bachelor Pad. They were like begging her to do it because she is always very entertaining (esp when she's drunk...) Anyway, she couldn't get work off and now she's so glad she didn't do it. That is all...
It's a good thing she didn't do it! She could have ended up fighting the love of her life to the death! It's not worth it.
The Hunger Games=less than three. That is all.
