I Can Dig Like A Shovel

I've got a serious infatuation with men who have ways with words. Like.... a SERIOUS infatuation. This is why I avoid poetry clubs. Because I would probably leave with a head full of fairy tales and a phone full of numbers of people I'll never see again.

Actually that's not why I avoid poetry clubs. I avoid them because I don't know of any that exist. Does that count as avoiding? ANYWAYS!

That's another reason why I like Josh so well. He's got a way with words!
Lara (staring at a mountain landscape): It's beautiful, isn't it?
Josh (staring at Lara): Yes.... oh and the mountains are nice too.

Josh: HEY QUICK! Do you know what 843x395 is?!?!?!
Lara: (A buncha guesses)
Josh: Nope. It's how many times I thought of telling you I loved you in the last 10 seconds.

Josh (through a letter): I wasn't feeling well this week, and my companion finally made me go to the doctor. I don't want you to worry, don't tell my parents, everything's fine, but they found something in my heart. And if they take it out, I'll die................................ It's you.

Bahahahah.... He's a cheeseball, and I think it's adorable. Those are some of his corny pick up lines... but man he can do better than that, yes he can. Anyways.

So you can see, I like men who can talk pretty. And looking in the past... there are a LOT of men who can talk pretty!

Too bad they're dead...

If I could build a time machine and go back in time and coyly flirt with-first date-second date-third date-bamCOURTSHIP-and-eventually-marry......... any three guys? They would be

1) Victor Borge
"A smile is the closest distance between two people"
"I'd like to thank my parents for making this all possible, and my children for making this all necessary."
"When an opera star sings her head off, she usually improves her appearance"
"I don't play any Beethoven very well, but I play Debussy very badly, and Beethoven would have liked that."
"Humor is something that thrives between a man's aspirations and his limitations. Humor is more logical than anything else, for you see, humor is truth."

This man can play piano like no one's business. That's another reason to marry him. I've got a serious love affair with Victor Borge, he just doesn't know it.

2) Walt Disney
"A man should never neglect his family for business"
"I do not like to repeat success, I like to go on to other things"
"I love Mickey Mouse more than any woman I have ever known" (I could change that)
"It's kind of fun to do the impossible."
"You reach a point where you don't work for money."

3) Abraham Lincoln
"A woman is the only thing I am afraid of that I know will not hurt me."
"I do not think much of a man who is not wiser today than he was yesterday."
"If I were two faced, would I be wearing this one?"
"The people will save their government, if the government itself will allow them."
"With the fearful strain that is on me night and day, if I did not laugh, I should die."

There you have it folks. Three man that I am secretly in love with. There are many more. But those three... yep. What can I say? I have something for men who know music, love laughter, and wear tall hats. You should too, but only of course, as you will.

Also, not too late to enter the giveaway! You still have what... 9 days? The giveaway only started yesterday! It's getting pretty heated. Get over there and enter it! Enter it like you'd enter a warm building on a freezing day (Yes, that was lame.)

The Walt Disney quotes are amazing! I would totally travel back in time to meet him, that would be totally awesome.
