I love OK Go. They win for having the most amazing music videos in the entire world. Win. You hear me? Win. They are winning.
So yeah here's what happened. Last night I'm all "AH! My first job interview! You better not mess it up! Get up early to get there on time and look nice!"
So I set my alarm for 7:15am. And guess what? It went off at 7:15am. I was pretty ticked because the sun hadn't woken up yet, and it was miserable. I love the sun. But then I was eating toast generated by my enthusiastic little toaster, and staring out the window, and it felt like the morning when I first went to Disney Land. I don't know why. It just did. And that made things better.
So I got ready, ran to catch trax, got to the Joseph Smith Memorial Building, rode up their wicked fast elevators (It's wicked fast. Almost scary fast.) And got to the reception desk thing and this is what went down.
Me: "Hi! I'm here for an informal interview for a banquet server position?"
Receptionist: "Oh....kay.... you do know it's at 10am, right?"
Me: (Que fallen face.) "Oh. Did.... Did I miss it?"
Receptionist: "It's 9am right now."
Yeah. Guys. I showed up an hour early. I don't know how it happened, but it did. So I just chilled around the building for a while, spent some time on those crazy elevators, (Not too much time though! They're fast! So it's oh hai elevatorBING! You have reached your destination!) And then went back. This was supposed to be a group interview. I was the only one who showed up. And now I have a formal interview scheduled for tomorrow afternoon! AH! Wish me some luckity-luck.
Then I came home and went to dance and then studied some and talked on the phone to the rental units (my parents) some and then went to FHE some.
FHE was at our High Councilman's house. He lives in Bountiful.
And check out that view.

But that is awesome jewelery! Way to reuse a bottle cap-i never would've been so clever to come up with something like it....I'm impressed!
You interviewed at the JSM Building?! I seriously work across the street! Like walk 20 feet through the crosswalk and you are at my office! I could validate your parking!
