Various Mares

I've been sick, so last night Joe and I went to Smiths to get me some drugs. I was checking out with my Nyquil, and the thing came up "Please show your ID to the attendant." The attendant walked up, looked at me, and said "You're not old enough."

"What?" I said.

"Trust me. You're not old enough."

I showed him my ID, and it cleared. I only had to be 18. So what. I look younger than 18? Whatever...

I've been having nightmares lately. So many. So often. I wake up, shake it off.... but I go back to sleep and another nightmare starts.

And now I psych myself out at night. Before I go to bed. Whenever it's dark. I get so scared it makes me dizzy every time I run to the laundry room at 9pm.....

I don't know what's going on. Joe said it was because of Slender Man... I played that "Slender Games" and it's freaked me out ever since. Ugh. Just talking about it makes me shiver. And it's broad daylight. And Joe is sitting right next to me. I shouldn't be scared. But Slender Man comes out during the day too!

It's stupid, because I don't get scared. I love scary movies because they're nothing. I watch them and laugh. I loved going to a haunted corn maze with Joe because he would jump at everything, and I just laughed and laughed.... But now I'm the one getting scared.

It's lame.

Do you have problems with nightmares? What do you do?

I bet it's wedding nerves! But weirdly enough, when I was a kid I had tons of nightmares, all the time, but then I got a dream catcher and they went away. It's probably just a placebo effect, but hey, it worked!
